I just played today with carista customization and green menu.
I activated Lap timer and oil temperature in dashboard, battery level(green menu)
Ambient Lighting Control activated, I don't know how to activate VIM(video in motion)
Needle sweep activated. I disabled service interval I don't know if it will work (I am the one who is checking my car). I'll do more testing tomorrow.

No, you have to go in car menu and select battery level

How to enable battery level Audi MMI 3G (A1 A4 A5 A6 A7 A8 Q3 Q5 Q7) - YouTube
This is the only VCDS tweak I could not get to work on my new Q. I did all the green menu settings - nothing. I found a VCDS setting in Module 5F - Byte 10 - Bit 2 that has a checkbox for " menu battery active" That didn't do it either. Looks like whatever MMI software I have in my 2016 won't allow this anymore, it worked ok on my 2013. Anyone figure this out?

Silly question, but before you can bring up the secret green menu using MENU+CAR buttons, do you need to enable it somewhere first, like through VCDS or Carista?

Enable Hidden Menu
[5F – Information Elect] > [Adaptation - 10] > Channel 6 > Change Stored Value From 0 to 1

Menu + Car = Enter Menu
Return + Car = Exit Menu
Menu + Center Control + Top Right = Re-Set MMI

Thanks. It looks like Carista can enable it, too.

Before you waste your time I'm pretty confident in stating that as of 2014 the battery meter was no longer available for activation.I've done many of the VCDS tweeks using the Ross-Tech cable, which I hope you all realize is one of Audi's major advantages over the competition.Got a Bimmer or MB or Volvo forgataboutit,go to your friendly local dealer !

Yup. You're right. It does not work on my 2015.
