Show me your iPhone charging solution
Hey folks. As you may know, I've got an SQ5 coming (if it ever gets built). I'm wanting to see some pics of some iPhone charging cables that you have that you've found work exceptionally well. I'm not looking for a simple "I like brand X charger." What I'd like to find out is if there are any specific ones that, due to their design/shape/etc, make for a particularly clean and efficient install in the Q. I know a lot of you use the Promount (or something like that) to hold your phone, but I don't think I want to go that route unless you can convince me that I'll wonder how I lived without it.
Ready... GO!
Thanks!

I suppose it depends on how much access you want to your phone while driving. I looked into a lot of "fancy" mounted solutions, but ultimately, I find I prefer to simply have a USB outlet with a charging cable in the center console. The phone is not visible, so I'm less distracted and less tempted to look at random things on it while driving. I have the MMI, so I don't need it for Nav, and I can still use the phone via Bluetooth. I like to have a "clean" cabin with no clutter.

I have the pro clip mount for my iP6+ and I like it. I still have to come up with a bit cleaner solution for the charging cable such as hardwire (just installed the mount yesterday). I will post a pic tonight.

Black voodoo magic.
In all seriousness, the car mount (not phone mount) is a 2 piece unit, part 1 has a small "z" on it that slips between the plastic crack at the edge of the dash, the other piece has double sided tape on it and sticks to the dash. You use 2 screws to connect the 2 pieces together, then attach the phone mount.
Hope that helps.
It is very easily reversible.
Here is the link to the official but not so great instructions.

You almost have to put a mount in for the 6+, the only place I've found that it fits in is the cup holder or you have to open the center console but at that point you may as well leave it in your pocket. The Q5/SQ5 could definitely use some more small cubbies to store stuff.
