Default Side assist issues

2014 Q5 premium plus . My driver side. Side assist goes on as it should but does no go out. Stays on for a minute after the vehicle that activated it is long gone. Then just goes on sometimes for no reason. Could the pickups be dirty? The small round things below the bumper are clean. What's going on? Anyone else have issues with this ?

I can't seem to find any. Only small lights on bottom of housing.

Are those small lights or sensors? Mine don't light up when I open the door. Are they part of the turn signal?

I thought the sensors were at the back of the car specifically placed to sense movement in your blind spot? Are they on the actual mirror??

I thought they were on the rear bumper (rectangular about 2 1/2 X 1") you can see the cut out with a filler piece on the bumper. I thought the nickel sized round thing on the bottom of the mirrors were courtesy lights that shine on the ground at night when the doors are opened. No certain though. Can any 'experts' out there shed some Light.?

The side assist sensors are in the front and rear bumper, they are round smaller than a quarter in size. 4 on each bumper

It's not a sensor but the warning light
