SQ5 - Alcantara Door Inserts w/ Nappa Leather package???
So my 2016 SQ5 showed up this past weekend with the Fine Nappa Leather package (in Lunar Silver) as ordered, but I immediately noticed that the door inserts were Alcantara. I could have sworn that the 2015s I test drove had matching leather inserts. Is this new for 2016, just something I never noticed before, or a factory defect?

2014 and 2015 leather package have matching leather door cards! Something definitely changed for 2016. SQ5 and S5 owners have noticed the same thing. I would be pissed. You ordered and paid for LEATHER.
Same with my 2016, personally I like the Alcantara look, I've had a couple people come in the car and notice it emmediately with admiration. I'll bet if you approached Audi with your concern they would have it changed to leather for you, considering its a brand new car.
Can anyone else confirm this? I just placed an order 2016 SQ5 in Nappa leather and I would be pissed to find a different material that wasn't disclosed.

I will flip F@%*^% out is they did something like this to the SUV I ordered without telling me beforehand! Especially since I paid for leather $1500 and waited 3-4 months for! I've contacted Audi USA they are clueless at the moment but they will look into it for me. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind Alcantara fabric but sure wish it was hell of a lot darker like this Photo shopped image Audi puts on their site… Black or Gray you decide! Plus I’ve got an English Bulldog and getting pet hair off that stuff is going to be pain in the ***…

When I ordered mine, I was told it was black on black, which was good, when it arrived, it was black exterior and more like a dark charcoal interior, which i didn't mind so much but it most certainly wasn't what their pictures advertised as "Black" needless to say, I got a few bonuses for making a small disturbance with the big cheese! Nothing short of false advertising though. However I still like the look of the interior and love the car!

This picture shows a DEEP black in comparison to my so called black interior. they will probably claim "different lighting" which is total hogwash
