Default SQ5 Tire Options

My SQ5 came with 21' wheels and summer tires, which I need to replace to deal with Massachusetts weather. I'd like something versatile –*perhaps all season –*to mount on the existing 21' wheels, but can't seem to find any tires for the 21's that aren't summer. Are there any all season or winter options for the 21's that I'm missing?

If not, what are the best 20' wheel/tire combos for all-season performance?

No A/S tires available in size 255/40/21, I'm afraid. Besides, most A/S tires are just barely passable in winter, and last time I checked, Mass does get a decent amount of snow each winter.

Why don't you get 19" rims and 235/55/19 (or 255/50/19) winter tires for winter? You guys have pothole galore over there, just like we do here, so you want some more rubber between the rim and the pavement.

Keep the 21s for the other three seasons.

I'm not a huge fan of 19" on the SQ5. Any recommendations for 20"/winter?

In size 255/45/20...

Nokian Hakka R2 SUV or Bridgestone DM-V1 if you want a proper winter tire. Otherwise Pirelli Scorpion Winter if you want a more dry pavement performance-oriented tire.

My 20 inch winters! You could always look for a used set of 21's and run the 21 inch winter tire they have listed on tire rack. When I got my winters, choices where very limited. Anything smaller than a 20 just doesn't look right to me.

I'm not seeing any 255/40/21 winter tires on TR right now. Possibly sold out?

Very nice. What wheels are those?

I'm not seeing at 21" winters on Tire Rack. What model are you referring to?

They must have sold out. I ordered my wheels from Hartmann they are the RS4 replica wheels.
