LOL, I'm in Montreal, we got the storm as well. Today was fun, I agree it's amazing in the snow. I have 235/55R19 Nokian R2 on the OE wheels for now.

Thanks for the pic, black wheels look great. Mine's a Phantom Black 3.0T.

We drove back from Montreal to Toronto last Wednesday during our snow storm. A trip which typically takes 5 hours took 9! but we drove past pretty much all the cars out there with the SQ....great snow car!

I'm looking into buying a second set of wheels and tires for my 2016 SQ5, my factory wheels are 20x8.5 ET35. The wheels I want are 20x9 ET40 and would get 255/45/R20 tires. Does anybody know if these will work without a spacer? Anybody using a similar setup? Thanks

Default WTB: (Chicago) 2015 SQ5 Winter Wheels, Tireds

Bought a CPO '15 SQ5 in Chicago with factory 21" rims. Looking to switch to a 19" solution for winter, ideally with Scorpions or Blizzaks. 35 Current offset. Not as concerned about after market v. OEM; however, wouldn't mind an OEM set.

Any advice or private pings would be appreciated. Just looking for something to get through Chicago winters in a 19/8 or 8.5 configuration.

Thanks,

It's been reported that the standard Q5 19" wheels won't clear the calipers on the SQ5 without spacers, so your OEM options in that size may be limited. I'd personally just grab a used set of 20" OEM wheels off the classifieds. They pop up pretty frequently. You're probably pressed for time though being in Chicago, because the rubber on the OEM 21s will be a death trap in the cold. I'd suggest just grabbing a winter setup off Tire Rack in that case since they guarantee fitment.

10mm spacers from ECS with bolts and done. Using the 19" 5-arm star wheels. Some Q5 19" will clear due to the spoke design.
