Static cornering lights stopped working

Static cornering lights stopped working
I just noticed that the static cornering lights are no longer working. For clarity, I am referring to the halogen light between the main beam and the turn signal that illuminates to the side in advance of a turn (i.e., NOT the main headlights that move with steering). One worked briefly yesterday, now there is no sign of life again.
Any suggestions before I take it to the dealer?
Q5 is a 2013 V6 Canadian model.
