Hello all,

I am a new member here and took delivery of my first Audi, a Q5 Prem+ without Nav, two weeks ago. I absolutely LOVE this thing and so does everyone who rides in it.

I specifically didn't get Nav because I use Waze (if you don't, you NEED to check it out. It saved me almost an hour on my drive time just this morning) every time I drive. I'm looking for mounting options for my phone and think I've settled on the Kuda dash mount linked below:

The installation instructions say to remove the grill-looking panel on the center of the dash to attach the Kuda to a screw. I was thinking this would be a great place to run power, if there is somewhere to tap into it.

My question for the forum is, has anyone done this? Is there power available back there to tap into for a cell phone? I could just pop it open and look, but if it's a lost cause I'd rather not order the holder or pop open the dash to begin with.
