I own a premium plus 2013 Q5. Only things missing are the tech package which has the nav, Blindspot assist,backup cam, push button start and rear heated seats. Found a very smashed up Q5 at a local junkyard, pics online show that it has the MMI system and backup cam. Basically everything I need to max out the options on my Q5. Just wondering if anyone successfully retrofitted all these options on their Q5 from a parted one? How difficult was the retrofit?

Besides the previously stated need to remove the Component Protection for many of the new modules/components added. You will need to do some extensive wiring for some of the parts, since they aren't simply "plug and play". I recently did the RVC (rear view camera) for a Q5 w/Nav and it wasn't something you just plug into place. I know the push start is also a lot of cable running and wiring.

There's a LOT of a great info on this forum...just use the SEARCH function and you'll find PLENTY of DIYs and such.
