Default Trading the wife's SQ5 for a Macan Turbo. Both sad and exciting...

Hi everyone. So even though our 18 month stint in the SQ5 was quite short, the car has been pretty amazing. The ride, the handling, the responsiveness, the sound of it, and the usefulness of it has made it an absolute pleasure to drive. Since neither my wife or I drive for work (she walks and I take the subway), it didn't make sense to have two cars. I want performance and she insists on an SUV. That's why the SQ5 made so much sense because it combined both. I will be getting rid of my M4 and we will be trading in the SQ5 to pick up a leftover 2016 Porsche Macan Turbo. We're definitely going to miss the Audi but I think the Macan won't be too shabby either! (sorry for the crappy pics)...

The Porsche Macan isn't personally appealing to me (the SQ5 is), but I can totally respect your decision. I know it will be a great drive that will give you excitement and utility that will keep everyone happy. Great-looking CUV and great choice! Congrats!

We have one of each in our garage. My wife prefers the Audi while I prefer the Macan so its a 90/10 driver split for us. You will never be disappointed by either.

Congrats! I'd honestly probably have a tougher time trading in the M4 if it was me.

I think you've got the best compromise between the two machines that you could possibly get. The Macan Turbo is a real beast. Enjoy. Steve

I am trying to like the Mecan but it just looks small to me and I don't like the black plastic around the bottom. I may have to drive one and see if I change my mind.

I am still likely holding out for the MB GLC AMG when it comes out.

This is...after I get rid of my TDI lease.

Oh...and I would have trouble getting rid of the M4 too...

So whats the deal with the M4, I'm in the market for one.
Has to be a stick though.

Driven the Macan and wow what a better drive than the Q5. It handles way better, more neutral weight balance and the dual clutch trans is amazing.

Oh I know. I've driven one and I WANT IT!!!!

If only my 335d wasn't such a good car. It's hard to justify a grand a month when you have a car that is paid off....
