Default TTG- SQ5 Delivery and Build Journal

Well, after 4 months of waiting the SQ5 is finally here. We had to order the car as none of the dealers had what we were looking for on their lots.

I am going to keep updating this thread (picture heavy) as I keep changing bits and pieces to the car. As this is wife's car, most modifications will be stealth and mainly cosmetic.

I am not going to go too much into reviewing the car as it has been done many times. Overall, impressions are so far positive and exactly what I was expecting. SQ5 is a great package that not many other crossovers can currently offer. 2 weeks after delivery and 500 miles on the odometer and counting.

So far Xpel, Weather techs and oil dip stick are the only additions and modified exhaust flaps to have them remain open.

Near Future plans include Vag-Com, Tint and Euro Spec Tail Lights.........etc

Here are delivery pictures:

1st road trip after custom Xpel install. We took it over the mountain passes to vary driving habits and to stretch her legs a bit.

Full Hood, Fenders, Lights, Front Bumper (they did a custom job the cover the full lower portion) and rocker panels.

You can't even tell the stuff is there. Big improvement over 3M for sure.

We are not doing too well driving the SQ5. After all these months she still has 3500 miles.

She is now fully coded and the front windows have been tinted. I think, on 5th coat of wax or so. Only mod left to do are the Euro tails. (I can't stand the red turn signals)

Here are couple of pictures after winter detail.
