Default Winter wheels + tires for sq5

I've been on the hunt for an inexpensive set for my SQ5; I just ordered a set of 19s from TR with Yokohama IceGuard tires. That was one of the cheapest combos that I could find - came to a little under $1600. I really wanted 20s, but I wasn't able to find an acceptable set for under $2k.

ASA GT8. I wanted spokes that were easy to clean.

Did you buy the wheels? Tirerack says they don't fit a '14 SQ5. I'm looking for wheels to put some A/S tires on for the winter months, too

Good to know. I've had analysis paralysis, trying to find the oem offset number. I've seen 25, 35 & 40 offsets and I'm a little squeamish about the big calipers being an issue. Any idea of the offset/ back spacing of your GT8 (s). I'm tempted just to change tires this year and not buy another set of rims, mostly because I don't want to order the wrong wheels. I see you're an old timer at the Audiworld site.... I'm an embryo... no disrespect implied.

My wheels are 32mm offset. Truth be told, I haven't put the wheels in the car, but I have no reason to believe that they won't fit. Audi sells a winter wheel/tire package in 19" wheels, so I'm not concerned. If tire rack says they will fit, then they will fit. This is probably the fourth or fifth winter wheel/tire package I have ordered from them and I have never had an issue.

I'm not sure about the 21" wheels on the SQ5, but the OEM 20" wheels on mine are a 33mm offset.

Offset will depend on rim width to some extent, too.
