Default XPel: Awesome

My Q5 TDI Sline+ with prestige just got the xpel treatment. Wow! It's absolutely invisible, so much so that I thought they might have forgotten it. Full frontal with rear bumper covered. Here's a shot of it at Northwest Auto Salon getting wrapped:

When we got our Q5 it was our first time trying out the Xpel Ultimate product. All I can say is that it was worth every penny.

Full frontal kit with install: $1795
Rear bumper cover: $90

I also had to have them buff out a scratch on the top of the rear bumper that my wife, in one month of ownership, had already created. Top of rear bumper is highly recommended. After the buff out the xpel film was applied and now I shouldn't have to worry too much.

I will need to have my wife's car plated in armor to protect it.

Is that the entire hood/fenders/bumper/side mirrors?

If not, you got hosed. The front bumper, side mirrors, and leading edge of the hood and fenders (1/3 way covered) on my wife's Q5 in XPEL... $700.00, labor and materials.

The price is consistent if it was a custom full wrap, not a pre-cut kit.

Yes, entire hood and both front fenders, headlights, fog lights, door cups, front bumper and side mirrors.

For some reason they don't mention the door cups there, but they did them, as well as the door jambs.

Very cool -- I just emailed NWAS about getting the same thing done to mine (that I'm picking up from Barrier tomorrow). Love the wheels and color, looks great.
