I'm usually all for the optics package but on black I think the standard setup is the right amount of contrast.

That is of course unless you are going for the blacked out look.

I have the 2015 order guide but does anyone have picture of the options or know when Audi might change the website to allow us to build a 15? I know the colors are off a bit but close enough to get an idea.

All cars look better with some sort of contrast IMO, so I wouldn't go the optics route unless I was selecting a lighter "base" colour.
The darkest base I'd choose for an optic'd SQ5 would be Daytona Grey... and even then I'd be a little concerned about not enough contrast.

Seriously, getting mad about all the options / colors choice.

I have black on black on black with a Brilliant Black TDI, the black optics (SLine+) package and black leather sport seats. I love it. It looks aggressive, for sure. With that said, my first choice would have been white with black optics for the contrast created by that combo. But my wife wanted a black Q5. So...Here we are!

At least I got the black optics package I wanted...

I think the black optics package also looks good on the dark blue Q5.

Different car. Daytona Gray with what they used to call the Titanium package...I rather like it!

When we ordered our 14 Q5, I did not realize it was going to have the black optics package. I was very hesitant at first, but now that we have it, I absolutely love how mean it looks. In fact, when I buy my next truck, I am considering going with a similar color combo.

They aren't bright silver, it's the sun light reflecting off of them. Audi calls it a "bicolor finish". They are closer to the wheel color in that A4 posted above.
