It is an Audi part number not sure which one. There are several others in addition to the one that comes with the Q5. Look in your manual or other threads herein. Try this link

Just bought the one with the red collar (4F0.051.510 R) so we could see cover art and more using the interface with our (few years old) iPod Touch. Our local dealer had it in stock.

If you've ever read the spec sheet on a hard drive, even the new ones with "self-parking" heads that retract when there is shock, are not meant to be used while in motion! They are "portable" but only designed to be spinning while not being bounced around. So using an SSD is very much a better way to go, as the hard drive will start taking data errors the first time you hit a bump. Even with a Q5 suspension.
I use a 128GB flash drive. Bought a $8? cable on eBay and then a $4 USB adapter to make the cable into a "socket" for the USB drive. There's probably a one-piece cable out there, too.

spijun, what year is your Q5?
Also, whatever card you get, make sure you format it as FAT32 first.
