I just purchased a Q5 that has the factory installed rear entertainment system. This has brackets that are attached to the back of the seats. The monitor slides out of the unit easily but the bracket system remains and should be removable as well? I came across a few answers that said to remove the caps around the silver brackets and you would see a release button. It does not appear that the plastic caps will come off. There is a release button in the back of the seat for the head rest and possibly there is a hidden release button for this bracket system. The dealers don't seem to want to research this issue at all!
