Yep, mine was less than 2k difference and it has a higher residual so the lease was within $20 a month at the time.

For 2017, the gap is a bit bigger because the 19" wheels are standard on the 2.0T Premium Plus.

Don't even bother with the 2.0t. I had it for 8 months and couldn't take it anymore. It wasn't bad but, it wasn't great either.

I thought the 20" rims were an option on the 2.0T, but looks like you can only get 19's. I could have swore the 20" 5 arm design wheels (which are options on the 3.0T) were options on the 2016 Q5 2.0T. Do you know if dealers are able to install these 20" wheels for some additional cost.

When I got my Q5 this time last year, I tested both 2.0T & 3.0T. While 2.0T is adequate, I definitely felt a difference.

3.0T cost at most $3k more, but it eliminates regret later, well worth it in my opinion.

My dealer told me that 9 out of 10 Q5s they sold are 2.0T.

I don't see why they couldn't install them if bought afterwards, but they can't be put on from the factory.

The 3.0 did feel and little more luxurious, doesn't sound like a 4 cylinder. Pretty good hit on mileage.

But, push come to shove, I was hard pressed to justify the extra 15k or so after option packages that always come with it. I can buy a 2nd used play car like a little convertible for that price.
15k???

Maybe the price difference for the SQ5 vs the 2.0T.

Got a call from my local Audi dealer that a 2014 SQ5 came in with about 35K miles. How much difference would there be between the Q5 3.0T and the SQ5? Originally I was deciding between the 2.0T and the 3.0T, the CPO SQ5 now adds another variable to my decision.

The 2017 Q5 3.0T still comes with the 272HP version instead of the 333HP version now in the A6. The SQ5 is 354HP so unless you plan to tune the Q5 the SQ has significantly more power if that's important to you. SQ is obviously my choice but it's still up to you. Don't know the condition of the SQ if it was cared for like mine it is like brand new but you still may not want to go the used route. GL.

Thanks. If the SQ5 isn't sold by the end of the week I'll probably go test drive it on the weekend.

2.0T to 3.0T upgrade was 2500$ in Canada when I got my 2014. No brainer for me.
