Default USB ports in SQ5?

Hello

Finally took delivery of my SQ5 last Saturday. Sorry, no time for pictures yet.
When I was setting up MMI, I noticed that it showed 4 USB ports as sources. I could not find them anywhere though.
Is is something hardcoded into MMI or the ports in fact do exist?

Only way I know of is via the AMI-USB adaptor cable. This gives one port, not sure it is supports a hub.

It is showing 4 USB ports with only the standard 30 PIN iphone cable. It is actually detecting them or those are just hardcoded lines to cover all possible scenarios?

This is true because AMI system is used for several purposes, signal transmission , charging, phone calls, GSM antenna, controlled device with the multi-function steering wheel ......

I just spoke with my salesman today about this. He showed me where the USB outlet used to be in the arm rest storage area. We noticed there was a little cover over the hole for it. We wondered if it might be prewired for usb and Just needs to be connected. HE's checking with a tech for me.

I looked at this as it would be much more useful in the armrest. My dealer offered to run a USB extension through the tunnel from the glovebox and pop out from the panel you mention but there is no wiring already there.

If you don't have AMI then the panel has a 3.5mm AUX jack BTW. But I think 99% of people either spec AMI or it comes as standard in many regions now.
