Hauling drywall?
I know I can go out and measure and figure it out on my own, but it's raining and I figure someone here knows the answer.
Anyone know if a 4x8' sheet of drywall will fit in the back of the Q5? (seats folded, of course)

Disregard, found something on the Q7 forum that not even a Q7 will hault it. Rats, now to find a friend with a truck...

Not while it's still raining! There'll be about 2 feet hanging out the back, the drywall has to go in diagonally. You can get 2, maybe 3 sheets in.

Beware roof racks and dry wall. I think the Q5 is rated for a 200 pound maximum, and I once dimpled a roof by carrying "just a few" sheets of drywall. Rule of thumb, if you can't lift it in one stack, it is too heavy for the racks.
