I recently had my '13 q5 2.0 in for service. I was given a '14 loaner with the updated engine. There is a noticeable difference in how the 2 cars drive. The '14 is definately smoother,quieter and shifts more smoothly. It also has less turbo lag and feels a little pepier. Overall the engine and transmission seem to work better together. Granted I am very happy with my '13 but noticed the changes. For those who think Audi just upped the horsepower on paper I can tell u that improvements were made. Funny thing is I asked service advisor what changes were made to engine for 2014.He had no clue so he asked a tech and he had no clue either. Started taking about exhaust and it was clear he didnt know. Comical.
