Brake Upgrade question?

Brake Upgrade question?
Just got a used 2016 Q5 premium plus with 8000 miles.
Coming from a GTI mkvi, the Q5 is a big improvement in comfort. However, its brakes are a little soft.
Since I have EBC Redstuff on the GTI, so
I was looking at EBC Redstuff (part number DP32022c) pads for the Q5 front.
I would like to ask the forum if Redstuff will be an improvement over stock pads.
In addition, I'm not sure about the brake sensors on the Q5. the EBC pads don't look like they come with any sensor (I might be wrong). If they don't and the Q5 require brake pad sensors then I'd live with stock pads rather than seeing the brake light all the time.
Any insights will be appreciated.
I've tried to search the forum but haven't found anything concrete.
Thanks!

Do I need a new brake sensor cable for changing the pads?

If sensor has not turned light on/worn through, you should be able to transfer over to new pads. It is a separate piece part on recent generation Audis, whether on the factory/OES or on the third party pads.
Redstuff will reduce dust, but feel will remain close to stock. I view that as a plus having used them on a bunch of Audis. But if you want firmer feel not sure what to tell you since that isn't really pads so much as hydraulics and caliper construction. But you may not want a ceramic in that case, which is part of the lower dust attribute of an EBC red.
