Navigation - Route vs Destination stopover
What is difference between a Route and adding a stopover in a Destination?

Stopover is just intermediate point you want to pass through while on the way to Destination. This way you can plan your route to go the way you like/need it to be, not always in optimal (speed/time/eco) way.
