It's ashame that it doesn't come standard on the UK version. I wonder if it's a cultural thing, i.e. fewer people have garages in the UK?

In Canada a standard only in a package Technik
Every market has different packages and additional equipment

We have Homelink but stopped using it after our house was robbed and car stolen. Instead we bought some small keyfob style garage door remotes and hid them inside the car out of sight. This way, if someone steals the car, they can't just roll up to the house and open the garage door.
That had to be a tough experience to have the car stolen to get into your house. But having hidden fobs takes away from the convenience.
Did they ever catch who did it? It seems like such a rare occurrence

The key here is not to leave the garage door to the house unlocked (which I do) That had to be a tough experience to have the car stolen to get into your house. But having hidden fobs takes away from the convenience. Did they ever catch who did it? It seems like such a rare occurrence

You might want to install a closed circuit security system outside your house, especially over your garage to monitor the driveway. They're getting really popular and cheap these days - only a couple hundred bucks for a good unit.
