Default FYI: Brought in for 25000 mile service, had a few issues fixed

Brought my q5 in for its 25000 service, had them look at a few things for which they resolved through TSB's:

- Car stalled once at idle - they scanned the ecu and found an engine code - there is a TSB out for this which involved an update to the software for the ECU

- Creaky sunroof - a TSB out for this as well which they followed and corrected.

-Vibrating steering wheel - we all know about this one - they are ordering the hose.

If anyone is interested in the TSB's I'll scrounge up the invoice to see if its on there.

Not all of us know about the vibrating steering wheel ?!?

Would appreciate the tsb's as mine did that with the aftermarket tires so much that I blamed the wheels and tires and got a refund

Thanks in advance !

I don't have the steering vibration TSB off hand - I had this done in our 15k service. But now, at about 22k, it seems to have come back. Happens less often than before the TSB fix, but there nevertheless. I'll wait for the 25k to bring it up.

Same here. I had the hose replaced. It seemed to go away for a long while but recently it has come back. Like yours, not as often but definitely still exists. I am going to ask at my next service.

Well I don't like the sounds of that - if thats the case wondering if its worth replacing the existing steel hose for one that is rubber if it isn't going to solve the problem permanently.

For those who are asking, the issue we're speaking about here has to do with the vibration that is sometimes felt in the steering wheel when the vehicle is not moving and cranking the wheel all the way to one side quickly. It typically happens to me when I'm parking the vehicle.

Yes, please list the TSB for the steering shudder - it'll be interesting to see if it is the same as has been applied in the past.

Unfortunately I can't get Audi Australia to even apply the known fix and have so far had to put up with the annoying shudder - it drives me crazy!

There appears to be a issue with injectors so if your stall reappears then have them check the injectors too.
