Default Ordered 2016 Q5 3.0 TFSI

Will receive it in nov/dec. Can't wait.

Got 9% off MSRP. thinking it's a good deal.

Exterior is Lava gray pearl effect, interior is chestnut brown (perforated milano). Anyone has a Q5 with similar colors and can post pics?

Yes, that's a good deal, surprising as well.

Did you have supplier?
Loyalty discount?
etc?

or was it just a straight 9% off?

Supplier is 6%, conquest is $750, loyalty is $750...

Congrats on the new car.

I had Audi supplier discount of 6%, I asked for an additional 3% (perhaps i could have negotiated a bit harder). This price was better than another dealer who was offering to go 1k below invoice (comes to 8% off msrp i think).

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum as well. Waiting on my 2016 Q5 3.0 premium to come in. Maybe its sales person specific but I got mine for 11.5% below msrp. He even showed me the $3000 under invoice on his computer. Unless the dealer inflates the numbers on their system. Also saw on his notepad another customers name w 12% next to it.
I did find out that Audi reps are salary based and gets bonus quarterly. So they work on volume not commission. Maybe this info will be helpful for future buyers.

Regards
Rog

I gotta thank this forum -- I made a move, and moved fast. I cancelled my original order which was 9% off msrp, negotiated with 2 other dealers in the area and ended up with 12.5% off msrp. I am happy with the result.
