I went with the DM-V1s this time around. Pretty much the best option for the 18" size. Good in actual snow, not as good in the dry. They are squishy (more than I've had in other brands). The biggest complaint is if the road is grooved in the direction of travel they catch the grooves and wander like crazy. Previously had WinterSport and IceBear that didn't have the same issue. Still better to have snows than not.
