Default Any SQ5 long term reliability issues?

My SQ5 lease is coming up in a few months and am deciding whether to buy it out or get something new. Car has 28K miles and aside from the 21" tires has been pretty inexpensive to maintain. Anything I should be particularly concerned about as the mileage starts to increase?

Thanks for the info.

You should be very concerned that a stage 2 tune exists and should be flashed immediately. Go for a dual pulley tune!

I have a 2014 SQ5, and I'm going in for my 55K service next week.

So far I've had nothing but smiles...

Smaller supercharger pulley + larger supercharger crank pulley + tune. Warranties are dumb , don't let it hold you back! Now wait for all the "I don't want to void my warranty posts". Pulley and tune it, you will be happy you did

Yes they are reliable. The 3.0T and zf8 are bulletproof.

my q5 has 53k miles, tuned since 31k and its strong as ever.

Saying that warranties are dumb, is, er, well, kinda dumb in itself. You may perhaps have the financial clout not to have to worry if your engine blows to bits or Audi annuls the warranty. Lucky you. Others may not have the $$$...or perhaps they do have the $$$ but they don't care about 0.5 seconds quicker to 60 and the same top speed for using a whole lot more gas with a rougher ride and voiding the warranty!!

Different strokes for different folks.

So true, the engine actually craves the new hardware and tune, otherwise it just doesn't seem to run right.
