Tire Suggestions & Recommendations for 19" Wheels
I am considering Michelin new tires(all season) for replacing my current tires which are at 3/32, 4/32 levels.
I have the following options in mind and I need suggestions/recommendations.
1. Michelin Premier LTX ( Low Rolling resistance: Michelin Total performance)
2. Latitude Tour HP ( Rolling resistance: Green X)
One of the main outputs I am looking for is less road noise. Which one works better? Or is there any other brand that's recommended

I'm facing the same decision.Oem tires were Goodyears LS2 and they were shockingly good in all respects.I abandoned Goodyear many years ago so it was good to see they can make a good product.Problem, their pricing is nuts, at least here in Canada. If you go for the Michelin I suggest you look at the Defender - slight upgrade to the the LTX which is highly rated.I'm leaning towards the Bridgestone - Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia, cause I can get them for $50 less per and they seem to be the equal of the Michelin in most respects.

Lots of threads in the forum on tires. I upgraded to Continental DWS06 tires in the 255/50ZR-19 size back in October. Lots of folks like them and they are priced well. You get a little more width but are same diameter as OEM size. They look a little more aggressive and you get more protection from wheel curb rashes.

I have these Goodyear tyres installed on my Audi Q5 TFSi 211bhp with 8J R19 (235 55 R19). Mostly fitted on Volvo XC60, XC90 and Freelanders and is OE for Landrovers.

- Excellent performance all year round
- Aggressive grip in wet and winter weather
- Aquaplaning resistance
- Quiet, comfortable ride

Original from factory were Michelin latitude hp and considering Michelin Premier XT. Hoping for similar quality ride including a quiet ride.
Is the Continental DWS06 noiser of a ride and more firm? My wife prefers smooth and quiet rides.

If your priority is smooth and quiet there are cheaper options that offer that. If you want a tire that high performance without sacrificing wet or cold traction, the DWS06 is a great choice.

I'm leaning between the followig two:
1. Michelin Premier LTX ( Low Rolling resistance: Michelin Total performance)
2. Latitude Tour HP ( Rolling resistance: Green X) ---- THIS IS WHAT MY CAR CURRENTLY CAME WITH...
Considering Michelin Defender not sure what the difference is with the defender over the premier LTX
Goal: Similar ride to what I have, a quiet ride is key.

Another thumbs up for this one, although I am usually not a fan of Pirellis; 20k miles later, still great.
