I was very interested in the Macan for the powertrain and and especially the PDK transmission, but it's just not worth the cost to me. I'm sure these photos show the air suspension in their high setting but I have no idea why they would set it that way for the show. The video nicely shows the back seats and yikes do they look cramped. Where's the leg room? I am very glad I went with my SQ5 and got all the power, more space, only minimally less style, and a great suspension (although not adjustable). Not to mention it was about $20k less than a Macan S.

The Macan Turbo has an engine and body that is a sexy beast though, and I would love to have that... just not for $90k+ with options.

There's enough control buttons and switches in there to choke a horse. Yikes.

Macan S $78k

Porsche Macan S 340HP Base price: $49,900
Porsche Macan Turbo 400HP Base price: $72,300

Key word here is "base price", and we all know how expensive the options get at Porsche. There is a closeup of the sticker in the video, take a look.

I know it's basic price, but Porsche on the U.S. market offers a lot more options than Audi.

Example Audi in EU: SQ5 TDI 3.0 TDI 230 kW (313 hp) Base price € 59,300.00 with all the options price € 94,070.00

Porshe Macan S 250 kW (340 hp)or diesel 190 kW (258 hp) Base price € 57.930,00 with all the options price € 97.307,10

Audi is also expensive for optional equipment and options
