What is included in first service

No dip sticks on any Audis, I believe. My S4 doesn't have one either. It's the German way. Why do something the easy way when something complex will garner similar results.

Purchase an OEM dipstick online ($18.)or at your dealer. It's a bright orange tip and gives you an old fashion look and see at the oil level.
If I were an Audi mechanic and saw you purchased your own dipstick, I'd think that you were very particular about your wheels and would service it, accordingly.
I have zero reservation about poping the hood, right there, before driving away and checking to see that my oil was changed by checking the dipstick. I've never seen anybody do it at the dealership but I do it everytime. I live 45 minutes away from my dealership and will make certain before I leave that there are no issues or concerns with the car.
Most all these cars have their oil sucked out thru the dipstick tube and probably MOST owners are oblivious to that fact.

Can anyone confirm that the correct part number for the oem dipstick is 06J115611E? I see it referenced for lots of 2.0T A series Audi's but not the Q5. Thanks in advance.

Remember, I gave you this number but I have the 3.2. Your garage is showing the 2.0T. Different animal. This part is for any A5/A4/Q5 with the 3.2 V6.

I just called the dealer to order a dipstick for my new 2012 Q5 and the parts guy said they do not have a part number for a dipstick. Just rely on the MMI. He also went on to say they do not make a dipstick for the Q5. How in the hell would the service department know if they have or have not added the correct amount of oil if they didn't have a dipstick.

Here is a picture of the dipstick on a 3.2 V6.

but that's it. In a perfect world I guess I could accept that but I like the somewhat oxymoronish "trust but verify" better.
