What are these for?
The holes and hooks in the attached photos are on the rear passenger window area (2012 Q5). Any thoughts on what they are supposed to be used for?
Thanks!

Steps to use the hook on B-pilar...
1) Open the rear door
2) Undress
3) Once all your clothes are laying on the back seat and you stand outside all nude
4) Take the jacket you didn't use and use the "hanging" loop on your jackets collar to hang it to the hook on B-pilar.

The hook is for a clothes hanger bar. The slot is for a dog cage partition. There's another slot in the rear somewhere where the other part of the cage connects.

Thanks for this thread. Just got my Q5 and was searching high and low through the manual for info on what the "cage" bracket was. And now I know.
Believe that #2 is just a simple coat hook...any kind of "bar" going between the two hooks would hit the front row seatbacks. Or at least they would in my driving position.

When i got my q5 2012, it included a net which ties to the top holes and clips to the seat when its folded. Like a safety net such that things in the back doesn't come flying in the back of your head.
