Default 2008 Q7 3.6 engine speed or crankshaft sensor?

Hello a few rookie Q's,

After reading multiple posts, I'm pretty confuse about....

1. Is the crankshaft sensor the same as the engine speed sensor or camshaft?

2. Which one is the one that makes your car not start randomly?

3. Do you guy have the location (picture/diagram would be awesome) of the part in question 2?

Thanks,
Rick

Hi Rick,

I posted similar question and no answer yet. We're you able to resolve your issue? Especially about the diagram where crankshaft sensor is located. I have the same car 2008 Audi Q7 3.6 and it seems impossible to find the answer online.
I already have that sensor but cannot locate it to replace it. I would really appreciate your response.
Thanks
Anna
