2015 Audi Q7 Rendered, Detailed
So there's a lot of talk going on about the new Q7 shape and what improvements it will have.
I read this article and thought I would share.
Looks like weight is a big issue here and the stats are that the new model will be 700 pounds lighter than it's predecessor.
Looks like much of this is due to to the switch from the current off-road-oriented platform to the new MLB (modular-longitudinal base) architecture.

majority of the frame and body will be aluminum. it will shed 300kg lighter because of it. if you want to imagine what it would look like look at the current a6 avant and raise it up 3" give it a proportionally larger single frame grille.
