Have you tried to add more AdBlue? The fluid will have moved to the larger tank, and I'll bet that you can easily add an additional 4-6 liters.

However, if you have the old software/firmware in your car, you will still have to have the indicator reset by your dealer or with a VAG-COM no matter how much you add.

That's the way it was with my 2010 Q7 3.0 TDI until the software/firmware was updated; and your dealer should that for you at no charge.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to provide a quick follow-up on this issue. It was actually non of the above. Issue was related to a faulty sensor in the AdBlue tank. So the car is now with the dealership for repair...

I had the same issue with my 2015 A4. Took it to several people who plugged it into a diagnostic computer and no faults were shown. I had loads of different suggestions as to what it might be, sensor, pump, heater, injector etc, etc. Audi quoted me £125 + vat for labour to look at it. I ended up, through a friend, finding a guy who sorted it. It had to be "reinitialized." He did it, said it was a tricky operation but got it done and for a fraction of what Audi were charging.
