Default 2015 Good Deal?

I got a 2015 SLine prestige with the sport package MSRP of $69,900 quoted at $63,900. They then added an additional $2500 off (loyalty and audi finance bonus), thus bringing the price down to $61,400. Do you think this is a good deal or is there more room for negotiation? I have a 2013 SLine Prestige in excellent condition with 46,000 miles. Kbb shows the trade in value at $40,000 but the dealer is offering $36,000 so I am assuming there is some room here. Any input/assistance is greatly appreciated.

I bought a new SLine Prestige over the Labor Day weekend for 15% off list. This took a sticker of $64,470 to $54,799.50. They called it "Employee Discount". A dealer Service Charge of $590.00 was then added plus tax & tag fee.

Which dealer and any specific sales person you worked with? This is at Jim Ellis Audi. Thanks.

They further reduced the price of the new one to $59500 thus bringing the discount to 14% off MSRP. They also bumped the trade to $37,000. I am asking them if we can get closer to the $40,000 in trade. I may try carmax to see if they offer any better.

Don't forget if you sell to Carmax you may lose the trade-in tax advantage.

That is about right on the trade in. It makes no sense because when you search KBB, it says, "Trade in value" but you never seem to get that. You always get anywhere from $2-$4k below the KBB listed trade in value. There is always wiggle room though. My wife and I just traded in our 2011 Ford Raptor for the Q7 S line Prestige. KBB trade in value was $43k for the Raptor and we got $40k... First they said $38k for the Raptor but I talked them up to $40k... They wouldnt budge on the price of the Q7 though....

Why are you trading up? Is there anything different from the 2013-2015 models? Or do you just want something new?

Good question! The sport package gives a few additional options such as adaptive suspension, adaptive cruise control, and i like the black with black rims and red calipers. My current one is almost out of warranty and I honestly don't like the look of the next year model. So this is the newest I can get in the shape I like. Again I am on the fence and may not even do it but just thinking about it :-)
