Looking for new SUV for my wife. She has decided on the Q7 but adaptive cruise is a must. Once you have had it it is hard to go back for her. Am I missing something or has this been deleted as a 2015 option? Went to my excellent local dealer and we can not find it on the 2015 order sheet.

iirc it is no longer available for 2015... you have to go with a 2014 or look at another brand.

Odd that they would drop a relatively new technology on a premium offering. Have it on both an A7 and TDI A6. Love it especially in rainy NW Washington weather.

i don't know why it was dropped, perhaps to keep the costs down with the "new" (renamed v12 options now available USDM) options they are offering for '15. who knows... why did they discontinue extended leather luxury package from 2010-2014 only to bring it in for the final year? no idea...

Yes, I confirmed with AoA that adaptive cruise was discontinued for 2015 when I was researching my order a couple of months ago. Didn't get a solid reason why, but I suspect it has to do with cost or with parts availability for the final year of the Q7.
