Interesting. 640 UTQG treadwear rating.
Pirelli Scorpion Verde Plus carries a 740 UTQG treadwear rating but treadwear warranty is " only" 65000 miles. ( If mine go 50000 I'll be very happy. Conti DWS went 33000' as did OEM Pirelli's.)

Actually it's possible. If your tires are dead before 75k miles, well, these Nitto are under warranty, but I am seriously wondering if they will replace your tires if they are dead at 65k miles. Logically, they have to. And logically, if they give that warranty, they believe in their products and have reason to.

So yes, I think you can do 75k miles with the tires which have this warranty, on a Q7.

You'd not get new tires. You get a credit on the purchase of a set of new tires. So maybe 13% off a new set.

Yeah, tread wear warranties are always prorated against the actual driven mileage. If the warranty is 50k and they're dead at 25k, you'd get somewhere around 50% of the purchase price in rebate coupons.

Given the hassle of how such warranty claims are submitted, it's rarely worth the effort to get back $50. Now, given the Q7's ability to eat tires (I'm at 22k on my OEM Pirellis, and they're just about done), maybe this is a case where there might be some value...

So what you get from the warranty is calculated like that; 100-X miles*100/75 (for a 75k warranty), it also equals of the difference of miles driven in % and 100. It's smart. For a Q7, since, they are dead shortly, if, for example, they are dead at 60k miles, it's 80% of 75k so you get 20%.
