Air blower whine

Air blower whine
Changed cabin filter last night and took down glovebox to get to air blower.
I had a nasty whine and chirp when cold mornings were upon us last winter and it came back on some mornings this week due to colder weather. Only lasts 4-5 minutes of driving till the air blower motor runs warm and the noise disappears.
I took the blower out, cleaned the fins and as much of the shaft I could get to, used some white lithium to grease bolts on top and bottom and used q-tip to get to shaft in between fan fins. Not a big DIY project. This AM started car up and no whine, nor chirp, actually no noise. Saved myself several hundred dollars for a new replacement and probably another couple hundred for labor at stealership.
