I have periodic rattles from the tailgate after the dealer "fixed" my radio. I've taken it in once but they have not been able to address it.

There's also periodic rattles from the middle seat like some of the other posts say. In my Q the middle seats are pushed all the way back but that still does not help. What helps is when someone sits on the seat...which is rare.

The dealerships service departments ought to keep a hard copy of the photograph and show it to the people coming in for the sunroof TSB. It might give them pause.

I am learning to live with the rattle from the sunroof very quickly after seeing that picture!!

The rattle is an entirely different issue, besides your car was built after the updated sunroof came out.

i am guessing the merc was a pre-2001 c-class?

After seeing that photo, I am completely astounded they did not introduce a dozen new rattles. We had ours in for the sunroof TSB a few years back. Not sure I would have had it done if I had seen the photo, but it did fix the rattle issue.

Whatever they do, it works.

Any updates on this. My second row which is a captains chair seat squeaks and rattles when no one is sitting. The squeaks/rattles disappears when someone is sitting.
Any help would be appreciated as the squeaks/rattles are very annoying.
