Another 2015 Sport
We recently moved to northern Wisconsin from New England and everyone acts like my 550 xdrive will be buried in snowdrifts and never seen again. In pursuit of more ground clearance I considered a number of things, with the front runners being a 2016 Q or an X5. Until I saw this:

Congrats. Beautiful. Wrestling between the Daytona and the Orca Black.
Test drove the TDI yesterday, then got the bad news on the appraisal for my 2013 S-Line Prestige trade-in. Offered $5,000 under what I was expecting, which makes the new sport $5,000 more expensive! Going to look around, I am sure someone can do better.

You buying Buckweat?
I can sell privately for a few thousand over trade in, but then lose the tax savings on the trade in (at 7.5%) and have to advertise, show and deal with responding to so many inquiries... I am all for saving a buck, but sometimes other factors out weigh the pure economics.
Hoping to do well on the purchase. Wife just told me if I get the Q7, she wants the all road... Ha, well at least that will help the negotiations...

Haha I totally know what you're saying and I agree 100%. I currently have my 2009 Q7 for sale because the wife refuses to trade in. She knows we could potentially get a couple grand more, but I didn't want to deal with all the stuff like you mentioned. Dealing with listing, fees, all the spam, etc just isn't worth it, but have to make the wife happy! I've gotten tons of inquiries, but no takers thus far. My local Audi dealer and the dealer I purchased the Q7 from offered me $20k.
