Any Issues with using a higher profile tire?

Sadly, every thread that mentions the ability to adjust tire circumference runs to a dead end
I'd LOVE to know how to do this with the 2015 (3G+). I've exhaustively searched the VCDS settings and secret menu to no avail.
It may be adjustable on the older 3G models, just not the newer ones (yet).

i don't recall off the top of my head and i don't have a q7 anymore to quickly scan for you in the garage. i know it is there... i remember seeing it. it is the overall wheel and tire size in mm (iirc). i have a vcds/vagcom if someone wants to meet up i can browse through the modules or i can sell the cable to someone if they need it. i do not have any use for it at this time.

In 13 years on AW and Vag-Com mod lists out the kazoo, I've not seen a one available to change wheel/tire circumference. My guess is you were thinking of the DIS fuel consumption display mod that can compensate for different sized tires and incorrect readings compared to actual mpg measurements.

My vehicle, a 2007 Q7 3.6 Premium, is equipped with the optional 19 x 8.5 wheels. Factory tire size is 265/50-19. I replaced them with 255/60-19's, which is the same size on the Buick Enclave. This size looks better because it fills in the wheel well gaps and rides smoother--not to mention costing 77.00 USD less each. This size works out to the equivalent of a 31 x 10.50 offroad size tire.
I have ZERO issues with running this size, the SAT NAV works normally, and I have no issues with tire pressure monitoring system. So, different size tires on the Q7 are fine in my opinion.
