Audi Connect & ATT SIM Card ?
I understand that the Audi Connect in the 2015 Q7 is T-Mobile. T-Mobile sucks when traveling. Has anyone had any success using an ATT SIM card in the system?
I've been told that the 2016 Q7 will be ATT, but that doesn't do anything for a 2015. I'm hoping an ATT SIM card will enable the ATT system to work in the Q7.

I did... Its literally plug and play. 3g everywhere and much better d/l speeds in and around ATL, SC, FL. I was very happy with it and its only $10 a month. Take the old card out, get a new att card activated and insert it in and it will work out of the box. Good luck!

BTW... The toughest part of the whole thing is getting the local att store to wrap their head around what you need. IE a card/plan for a tablet and not a phone as the phone one is more expensive and the Q doesn't use the phone part.

Thanks. I don't have a lot of confidence in my local ATT store personnel. Could I just take the SIM card out of my iPad and use it in the Q7?

I would assume so... As long as they are the same size it shouldn't be an issue. It doesn't matter what actual "device" it's registered to as mine is registered to an android tablet. My local store when we pulled the ID info off of the Q, the system was forcing it to be a phone at $15 a month, so I just had them link it to my android tablet (it allowed it.. go figure) and it came through at $10 instead of $15.
