Audi Q7 reliability - better info - please sign up
With JET's support, for which I am very grateful, I've been posting about TrueDelta's reliability research about once a month.
What we provide: actual repair rates updated promptly four times a year.
For the Q7, we've had a marginal sample size for the 2007, and insufficient sample sizes for the other two years. So more participants would be very helpful.
Participants simply report repairs the month after they occur on a one-page survey. When there are no repairs, they simply report an approximate odometer reading four times a year, at the end of each quarter.
To encourage participation, panel members receive full access to the results for free.

Nice transition to a more modern format, AW.
In about a month we'll start previewing the next set of results to participants. More always helpful. Especially need 2008s and 2009s.

We've updated survey results for the Q7 to include owner experiences through March 2009. In terms of successful repair trips per 100 cars per year:
2008: 79, about average but near "worse than average," but very small sample size
2007: 101, worse than average
A big thank you to JET, the forum, and everyone who has been helping. We'll have further updates in August and November. With more participants, we could provide more precise information and cover all model years.

92 Q7 owners now signed up. A good start, but more are needed to provide precise results for all model years. Especially need more 2008s and 2009s. Updated results around the end of the month.
