For the Q7 we've just updated survey results to include owner experiences through September 30, 2009. In terms of successful repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2008: 77

2007: 96

Both are now about average. Small sample size for the 2008.

A big thanks, once again, to JET, this forum, and everyone who has been helping. We'll have further updates in February and May. With more participants, we could provide more precise information and cover all model years.

Updated results later this month. As always, the more owners participate, the better the information we can provide to everyone. More people needed for all model years.

We've updated survey results for the Audi Q7 to include owner experiences through December 31, 2009. In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2008: 77, about average, small sample size

2007: 104, worse than average

Recently enhanced the related repair history survey so that it can (optionally) be used as a personal car maintenance record.

As always, more participants would be helpful. Especially need more Q7s for 2008 and up.

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2008: 72, small sample size

2007: 75

Both are about average.
