One needs to always keep this in mind. You think the average person with good luck with any car is going to go all over saying how great it is? No. As soon as somebody has a problem or feels wronged then there right online telling everyone. Audi has pumped out hundreds of thousands of these. The handful with the problems we all hear about online are a drop in the bucket to the reality of the cars. if they were all horrible and falling apart, needs thousands in work nobody would buy them, and Audi would be out of business with warranty repairs.

Our reliability stats for the Q7 now include owner experiences through March 31, 2014, making them nearly a year ahead of other sources.

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2011 Q7: 102, high, very small sample size
2008 Q7: 57, moderate, very small sample size
2007 Q7: 72, moderate

We've updated our reliability stats for the Q7 to include owner experiences through June 30, 2014 (making them about 14 months ahead of some others).

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2011 Q7: 81, high, very small sample size
2008 Q7: 49, low, very small sample size
2007 Q7: 70, moderate

Next updates in November and in February. The more owners participate, the more comprehensive and precise these will be.

I just wanted to let you know that I signed up and did a survey for both of our cars (my wife drives a 2010 BMW 135i convertible). The larger the sample, the more accurate the results, right?

there's no reliability information on 2012 models and onwards, I've added my 2013 3.0 TDi
