Hey all- new to the forum and purchased a 2014 Q7 TDI two years ago and loving it! I have 21" wheels but potholes here in NYC area are not forgiving. I wanted to know what the ideal setup would be for 19" winter wheel setup. I probably don't need true winter tires, maybe a good all season but strong winter characteristics so I can swap during colder months. Any suggestions and pictures on size, wheels, etc. would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I have 20 inch summers and 18 inch winters. They 18's came off a VW. He sold them as the car was stolen and totaled during summer. I paid 800 CAD for 4. Next to new tread Pirelli winter scorpions. Very happy with them. See pic. It is the changeover. 20 on rear, 18 in front.
