So our car came with T Mobile for 3 months fro free. Looks like they throttled my down to a trickle and I'm done with it.

Can I replcae the Sim Card with one from Verizon?

Assuming you have a recent MMI 3G Nav Plus, Verizon won't work - different frequencies. An AT&T sim would work but you would only get 2G speeds. Your only other options are TruPhone ($.09 per mb @ month) or US Mobile (several inexpensive monthly plans), both of which use the 3G T-Mobile network and can be less expensive than T-Mobiles $30 per month or prepd $450 30 month plans.

I use US Mobile and I have not noticed any throttling, I buy their $4.70/100 mb or $7.70 250 mb month to month plans. No issues at all.

My t mobile works pretty good.....when you are in a city, but on the road their service is very spotty at best.

Which is one reason the 2016 Q7 has AT&T.

Another reason is the T-Mobile contract was up and AT&T outbid them.

i just got a 2015 Q7 they give me 6 months free wifi its works ok... my cousin work t-mobile the problem is that audi are using 3g which on compay really use that anymore and it't depends where u live at also. i hope the 2016 Q7 have 4G

I would expect for MY2017 just about all Audis, not already having it, will have 4G LTE. But it will be AT&T, at least for the free trial. Since T-Mobile uses the same frequencies, one could switch from AT&T if T-Mobile works better in their area.
