I am new to Audi. Can someone explain the difference between these two versions of the Q7 S-Line Prestige? One has 3.0T Quattro to the right of the license plate. One better than the other? Performance differences? Thanks!

What year is the one without the 3.0T badge? For some reason Audi left the engine designator off for one year - 2013. They resumed putting the badge on in 2014.
Otherwise, pretty much the same......

2011-2013 did not have engine badging for the 3.0T. On 2014+ 3.0T Q7's the badge was added

Thanks for the information. I didn't know that. The top picture is a 2013 and the one below is a 2014. Makes sense now. Originally, I thought there may be engine/transmission differences.

I stand corrected - after checking photos of 2011 - 2014's on Carmax, I see you're absolutely right. My 2013 Q7 was my first exposure to Audi & it didn't have the 3.0T & Quattro badges. I hadn't paid much attention to earlier models except seeing some with "TDI", "4.2", etc. When the 2014 models came out I noticed they added it. I actually added them to mine since I liked the way it "balanced out" the rear.
At any rate, I'd go for the 2013 without the badge - it'll perform better since it's lighter .

Has there been any update on the 3.0 tdi witch hunt? I thought Audi was gonna go to court today.

They're going back to court on Dec 16th.
