Default Bang & Olufsen Sound System - Retrofit Or Not?

Hi all

Anyone know if its possible, without major modifications, to swap the Bose system for the B&O system in a 2008 S Line?

Thanks

Carl

i can't imagine this being "cheap"... at all or even close to reasonable. if anything you may be better off replacing the bose amp with something worthwhile and upgrading the speakers in the door panels.

price it out but i would be surprised if it was even worth considering once you get the numbers... it's going to be about $2580 for the amp alone and about $500 per door for the larger speakers, $220 for the smaller mid-range ones etc etc etc. along with the cost of a vagcom to code the vehicle and labor (or your own time)... those are just some of the pieces... if you didn't buy it from the factory don't bother with the retrofit.

i have the b&o sound... i had it in every audi vehicle it was offered in. love it but one small complaint is it's lacking a bit of bass. it punches but not nearly as much as the RR L7 system but by far the clearest of any of audio system i have ever heard in any car.
