Default Battery location?

Can someone please tell me where is the battery located on 3.6 Q7 (US Version)?

The manual says it is under the driver seat but I can't see anything there.

Thanks for your help!

EDIT: Well, after taking a 2nd look, it appears that the battery is there, BUT how do I get to it? Do I have to remove the entire seat? If so, does anyone have more info on it? Thanks

Default Access is from the outside. Terminals are under the hood. No service

Default Why do you need to get to it?

If it is a jump start or the like use the terminals under the hood for that. The battery requires no maintenance.

Default if you *really* need to get to the actual battery, then yes, you need to remove the entire seat

Default its under the drive's seat. you only need to remove the front bolts of the

seat. its under a charcoal filter that you have to unclamp inorder to get to the battery.
